The team at Masterprint create innovative design and print, for effective communication.
Masterprint wants to offer customers better design, something that will inspire them. Quality design makes customers and audiences pay attention to your message. This design or printed literature should move people to do new things, try new services, and explore what your organisation has to offer. We offer customers fresh ideas and smart solutions that work in the real world. With our technical expertise we always try and offer you the best solution.
A quality brochure or flyer that a customer actually enjoys reading and handling will improve your chances of generating business. With our door to door distribution network we can deliver your message, in the form of a printed flyer or brochure, through the public’s door.

Meet the Team
Alan is the company techno print ‘oracle’, he established Masterprint back in 1993 bringing with him a wide and varied design and print experience.
He has a BSC Hons in Printing & Packaging Technology as well as being a qualified as a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchase & Supply. Alan can discuss and advise on virtually any aspect of design and print and is very happy to come and discuss customer objectives and requirements at their premises.
Alan likes hiking around the Lake District and loves nothing more (other than his wife Sue) than a quiet pint afterwards. He is an enthusiastic amateur golfer and rugby fan.
James joined Masterprint in 1996, qualified to City Guilds level 2 in Graphic Design & Communication. James has had many job roles within the company, starting as a print finisher, being promoted to supervisor and later promoted to his present role as Production Manager. James is the customer service ‘guru’ and his main roles (other than production) include estimating, sales, customer care and anything else Alan decides to pass his way!
He spends most of his spare time, stood freezing cold at the side of a football pitch cheering on his son. With the little spare time he has left he enjoys keeping fit, trying to play football himself and sampling the many different types of beers in the nearby public houses of St Helens (I think people call it "socialising" nowadays).
Tony is our print and finishing techie, he joined Masterprint in 1997 from another local printer and he has been a printer since 1992. He trained at Tamcos Ltd in graphic design, print and print finishing achieving City Guilds level 2 qualification. Tony is very adaptable and has taken on various roles with the business such as networking and telesales.
Tony enjoys playing golf, keeping fit and regularly undertakes fund raising for the Steve Prescott Foundation and the local Hospice.
Andy has been with Masterprint since joining us in 1996 with a BA Hons in Graphic Design from the University of Humberside. Working as our head designer Andy has gone slightly greyer and thinner on top over the years but has lost none of his passion for providing a design that meets the exact needs of the customer.
Andy is a committed Saints RL fan and also enjoys competing with his work colleague Tony Quilliam in the annual St Helens 10k charity run for the title of ‘fattest man in Masterprint’... sorry ‘fastest man in Masterprint’.
He is often found in the back room with his signature white headphones on and drinking his tenth coffee of the morning.
